Stalking

I have a stalker, or quite a few… Which is pretty super! It’s kinda weird, this feeling. The overall emotion is a bit of a stew concocted from excitement, flattery, fear, embarrasment, and self censorship. But I double checked and I need not feel embarrased, because I’m pretty good at self censorship.

So I’ll replace embarrasment with something else… something that mixes well with the others… I’ll try intrigue.

People actually google me, which isn’t so bad. But it happens a little more frequently than I really would have thought. And I keep a very low profile. I rarely ever google people. The exceptions are if the person recently invented something I think is incredible, or if the person wrote a paper on something I think is incredible. Otherwise people are for the most part mind-numbingly boring. This is why I don’t use Myspace, Twitter, Facebook or any other social sites. Sometimes I use Facebook to check when a friend’s birthday is, or to respond to a message usually with “I have an email address for a reason”.

As long as the stalker remains cool and reasonable, understanding that their target is in control, I have no problem with it.
