I love airplanes, flying and being in control of highness. I live and work in a two dimensional world, so playing in a three dimensional world is really far out.

I’ve never even seen a radio controlled airplane in flight before. And, I’ve never really built anything before. So to knock two items off my bucket list, I figured I’d build an airplane. Everybody says beginners should start with a pre-built, high wing, lots of dihedral, flat airfoil, nose gear, slow… Just a good trainer.

And I got the low-wing, semi-symmetric airfoi, tail wheel, kit build, low dihedral, faster plane… The kind of plane you get after becoming rather skilled. I just wouldn’t learn fast enough doing it the normal way, which would result in me not liking it.

Besides, I’m a perfectionist. Anyways, here’s a photo of what it looks like so far.

Horizontal Stabilizor

In the foreground  is the main stabilizer. Curved side faces the wind. In the background are the elevator sections, curved side faces away from wind.
